HB4653 HFA DUKE 2-28 AMENDED

    Delegate Duke moves to amend the bill in subsection (a) of section eleven of article nine-a on page twelve at line fifty-six immediately preceding subsection (b) and the word “whenever” by inserting the following new subdivisions:

    (3) (A) In fiscal year 2012-2013, the amount calculated in subdivision (1) of this subsection shall be reduced by fifteen percent;

    (B) The amount calculated in paragraph (A) of this subdivision shall be further reduced by five percent as an allowance for the usual losses in collections due to discounts, exonerations, delinquencies and the like; and

    (C) The amount calculated in paragraph (B) of this subdivision shall be further reduced by the sum of money due each assessor’s office pursuant to the provisions of section eight, article one-c, chapter eleven of this code and this reduced amount shall be the local share of the particular county.

    (4) (A) In fiscal year 2013-2014, the amount calculated in subdivision (1) of this subsection shall be reduced by twenty percent;

    (B) The amount calculated in paragraph (A) of this subdivision shall be further reduced by five percent as an allowance for the usual losses in collections due to discounts, exonerations, delinquencies and the like; and

    (C) The amount calculated in paragraph (B) of this subdivision shall be further reduced by the sum of money due each assessor’s office pursuant to the provisions of section eight, article one-c, chapter eleven of this code and this reduced amount shall be the local share of the particular county.
